Jacob James Right, BS, earned his degree in the field of Parks and Recreation with emphasis in designing fun outdoor activities for large groups. Jacob is a certified Personal Fitness Trainer with International Sports Science Association (ISSA), and a certified Outdoor Boot Camp Instructor with National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA).
Jacob spent 12 months in Iraq, where he earned his combat badge and a bronze star as a platoon leader in the Army National Guard. He spent his days and nights overseeing and protecting the lives of his soldiers. While in Iraq, Jacob learned the value of life, and though he is no longer leading soldiers into battle, he is leading women everywhere to a healthy and fit lifestyle. Being fit and healthy allows Jacob and everyone he trains to enjoy a better quality of life.
In 2007, Jacob decided to start his own outdoor fitness classes for women. This enables him to share his healthy attitude with many others. Through the outstanding leadership skills that he developed in the U.S. Army and his time in combat, his love of fitness and living a healthy lifestyle combined with the vast knowledge he acquired throughout his education, Epic Boot Camp was born. With Epic Boot Camp, Jacob has dedicated his efforts to making exercise fun, yet challenging for all shapes, sizes and abilities. Over the course of several years, he has changed and touched many lives with his knowledge and programs — and now he and his dedicated instructors are ready to change yours.
Jacob started the first boot camp in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with six brave ladies and from there, after experiencing such dramatic results and positive feedback from them and the news media, such as in this must read news article, the demand began to grow throughout the city with 5 locations in 6 months, to now 7 locations in Pittsburgh, 2 in Philly and soon to be Texas and Atlanta, all in a matter of less than 2 years. Expansion will continue in each city and across the country.
